Tenth Dunbartonshire Province were crowned the Scottish Province Champions 2022/23.

The Province Championships were held at Greenacres Ice Rink the weekend of 22-24 October, and was contested by 20 Provinces split into 4 groups of 5 for the section stage. 

The Tenth Dunbartonshire team, represented by the Province Champions Kelvinside Academicals, and comprising of Alasdair Scheiber (skip), Andrew Callander(third), Scott Gibson (second), and James Whittle (lead) defeated Scottish Central Province, represented by the Keir Curling Club skipped by Lee McLeary in a tight final.

Dunbartonshire was first on the board following a steal in the second end.  Both sides traded singles in ends 3 and 4, and doubles in the 5th and 6th ends, before Dunbartonshire recorded another single steal in the 7th end for a 5-3 lead going into the last end.

Scottish Central kept the final alive with a double at the 8th end to force an extra-end decider.  Although Dunbartonshire had the hammer, it wasn't needed as Alistair declined to play the last stone when counting 3 to win the Scottish Province Championships 8-5.
